President's Day at the History Museum

Please join the Washington County Historical Society for their President's Day event at the museum on Monday, February 17, 2025 beginning at 10 am.
President Dorothy Odom will unveil a new collection featuring George Washington, our first President after whom the county is named. The collection features a bronze bust, a lithographed portrait, a porcelain figurine, and a newspaper from the 1800s. This event is just one of many in 2025 coinciding with the Washington County Bicentennial Celebration!
During 2025, an original commemorative Bicentennial quilt will be on display at the museum. Quilt raffle tickets will be available at the event.
